Yes, the Aceron family has come of age! We are now online 24 hours a day 7 days a week. It's been a long way since Lolo Amboy eloped with Lola Abe from the scenic Taal, Batangas to the bayside town of Pola, Oriental Mindoro, Philippines. Members of the family have gone to Canada and the US of A. Some have made Manila their home while others have stayed in Pola and Calapan, Oriental Mindoro. This is how we keep in touch.
How this works. As of the moment, news can be posted here. I will administer the site. Members of the family who wish to be able to put up posts in this page should send me an email at marvin@mbaceron.com. As soon as I receive a request for permission to post, I will enlist that person and she can begin posting upon receipt of my confirmation. I will also give instructions on how to post. Believe me it is so simple.
What's the plan? For the moment, this site will receive only news posts. Any message will do, even greetings. But, the plan is to develop a website for the family with pages on family history, family tree, news, repository of pictures, links to homepages of family members, free email for everybody and even a chatroom to save on the phone bills. I can't do that alone. But if you guys have time, please volunteer. It will be fun.
Immediate task. Currently, we have to vote on the appropriate address (aceron-family.com .net,org or aceron.com.ph or aceron.ph). Aceron.com.net.org have all been taken by some computer companies. But no problem They will probably move to .biz domains later on. In the meantime, I need your help. What should be the name of our Homepage? If you have ideas, please email me.
Help. For the folks who are not so well-versed in computers, perhaps you can help us raise the funds to put up a decent site. The first requirement is to buy a web address. The current market price is 35$ for one year. Any pledges?
